Coach Bio

Gregg has been coaching since 1997. His first coaching job was an assistant football coach at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. This team went 13-0 and won the state championship behind star quarterback Carson Palmer.

His first of three daughters was born that same year. He has coached nearly every sport possible having 3 daughters and one son but instantly fell in love coaching girls softball.

Coaching at South Huntington Beach softball league for 4 years, Gregg was an all-star coach every year.

Gregg and Ted met through many one-run battles when they coached all-stars against each other. Not only were they ultra-competitive games, usually meeting in the championship games but their teams were also similarly built and coached alike.

Their past all-star teams and Firecrackers teams are comprised of fast athletic girls, which allows unlimited run manufacturing possibilities.

Playing Experience - Growing up in a small town outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Gregg was an all-state baseball player in High School. He was also an all-league, all-county and all-region football player in high school. He played both baseball and football at a small college in southern Michigan.
