Ted Holcomb - Co Head Coach

Coach Bio

At the 14U level, you are not going to get too many coaches with more experience than Ted Holcomb.  He has been a head coach for more than 10 years guiding his teams to numerous championships.  At Los Alamitos Girls Softball league he won two ASA State Championships with his older daughter and then took his younger daughter to two more state championship games and one National Championship game a few years later.  In travel ball, the team's success has continued as the OC Firecrackers Holcomb/Knight team has won multiple TCS championships and qualified for PGF premier every year since the team formed. As first year 12's, the team won the Triple Crown World Series in Reno and won the TCS Mothers Day Tournament.


His older daughter Jenna Holcomb was an All-American at Los Alamitos High School and currently plays for the University of Tennessee.


Playing Experience - Ted Holcomb was also a High School All-American baseball player at Westchester High School and went on to play 6 years of minor league baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves Organizations.  He ran many camps and clinics in his baseball playing days but with three daughters has transferred that experience to the softball field.
